Here's another shortcut tip for those who are frustrated by their inability to work quickly enough in Windows. The power user's dream is to open multiple applications with specific shortcuts, and Windows 10 makes it simple to do so.
You'll need to gain access to the app's properties to do so. In Windows 10, the process is more difficult than in previous versions of Windows. To begin, go to the Start Menu and search for an app, then right-click on it. A menu will appear, from which you can choose Open file location.
The app's EXE file will already be selected in a File Explorer window. Select Properties from the context menu by right-clicking on it. Go to the Shortcut tab in the Properties box that pops up and type in the keyboard shortcut you want for the app in the Shortcut Key box. Once you've clicked OK, you're done.
