Here's another shortcut tip for those who are frustrated by their inability to work quickly enough in Windows. The power user's dream is to open multiple applications with specific shortcuts, and Windows 10 makes it simple to do so.
However, it is prone to becoming clogged with notifications, including those that appear to be useless (we're looking at you, Windows tips). Fortunately, turning these off is simple.
For some reason, Windows 10 does not include DVD-playing software by default. Microsoft does sell an app called ‘Windows DVD Player' as a download from the Windows Store, but it costs £11.59 (approximately $15, AU$20).
Because personal computers come in all shapes and sizes, the Start menu, which takes up roughly the same amount of screen real-estate regardless of size, can be extremely useful.
You can put Cortana on the lock screen for comfort, but doing so could put your Windows 10 device at risk if you leave it unattended in a public place – a passerby could use the digital assistant to peek at your messages or something similar.
